The maintenance mentioned here mainly involves washing and collecting methods after winter. Because quilts are usually divided into pure cotton, polyester, fiber, silk, down, wool, and acrylic, different methods are used according to different materials.

【1】How to collect cotton and acrylic quilts.

Pure cotton has good breathability. In terms of knitting density, it can be divided into 200/250/280/320/needle. The denser the number of needles, the better the quality. Polyester and cotton refers to a blend of polyester and cotton. If polyester is written before, it means that the content of the product accounts for the majority, and vice versa. If the products are fifty percent each, they will have the words TC. Cotton and anaerobic quilts do not require special maintenance and can be dried frequently. Acrylic quilts can be washed in water, once a year to prevent bacteria from growing. If you have used a pure cotton quilt for a few years, it is best to open the old knots and loosen them again to avoid affecting the warmth.

【2】How to collect down and wool

Down and wool can be dry cleaned, nor can they be exposed to the sun. On ventilated and dry days, do not place it in direct sunlight. It can dry for an hour or two to achieve the effect of sterilization and dehumidification.

【3】How to collect fibers

The fibers can be placed directly in the washing machine to clean, and can be washed by hand with cold water, but when washing, you cannot use washing powder to re-knead, and detergent should be used, and the washing time should not be too long, which is appropriate for half an hour. The washed fibers are not easily deformed, but must be completely dried, otherwise it will affect the service life.

【4】How to collect silk quilts

The silk quilts are breathable, light and soft, and have a comfortable touch, and can be used even in winter. It cannot be washed in water. It is usually placed on the balcony and sunbath for about an hour to achieve the effect of dehumidification and sterilization.

In addition, silk quilts, down quilts, and wool quilts must be avoided from colliding with sharp hard objects.

Down quilts are gradually favored by young white-collar workers due to their advantages of lightweight, comfortable and beautiful appearance. Here is a quick tip for choosing down quilts: spread the down quilt flat on the bed, and after the down naturally stretches for about 2-3 minutes, gently press it with your hand, and then quickly release it. If the pressed area can quickly return to its original state, it can prove its good material. The down quilt has high requirements for the quilt surface, because the down quilt is easy to fly, so the quilt surface requires a velvet-proof cloth. When buying, quickly rub the quilt with your hands to check whether there are any fluffy diamonds. Is the anti-wind cloth too dense and the position of the sutures too sparse, so as to prevent the down from flying out and affecting smooth breathing.
