According to Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorset, the Wolves are facing competition from Fenerbahce after trying to convince Nice striker Guïsand to transfer to Turkey's private meeting.
It is reported that Fenerbahce coach Mourinho spoke with Guïsand and his representatives through Zoom on Monday. Fenerbahce subsequently made a offer of 25 million euros basic transfer fee plus a 5 million euros surcharge, but Nice has now rejected the offer.
Wolves have not yet made a formal offer to Guïsand, and the players have many suitors in the Premier League and overseas.
Guerander is one of many forward goals Wolves are considering, although transfer fees may pose a hurdle as Wolves also hope to bring in a full-back and a midfielder in this transfer window.
Fenerbahce's offer now gives Wolves a clear idea of the cost of signing Guïsander.
