Liverpool officially announced the appointment of Simon Wiles as the club's U18 coach, replacing long-time coach Marc Bridge-Wilkinson. It is worth mentioning that Wells once coached at Manchester United's youth training camp.
Simon Wells has extensive coaching experience in youth and first teams, and has worked as a coach for multiple age groups at Blackpool and Fortwood and has worked in Salford for two and a half years. During this time, he also served as interim head coach at Salford. Last year, he moved to Manchester United but became a member of Liverpool just one season later.
