Do you regret never coaching a club that you have expressed your admiration for, or is this still a possibility in the future?
Mourinho: I don’t regret it because I never had a chance. I never said no to Newcastle. I've said no to a lot of clubs in my career, always with the utmost respect, but sometimes I have to say no, no, I'm not interested; no, it's not the right time. Newcastle never contacted me at any point so I have nothing to regret. And, to be honest, I don’t think they need a coach now and I hope they don’t in the next few years because that means everything goes well for the club and for Eddie (Howe), which is what I hope for, but other than that, at this point in my career, no club makes me happier and more motivated than at Benfica, so I wouldn’t leave Benfica for anything at the moment.
