Manchester United new player Cunha ended his summer vacation this Monday, returned to Carrington base to participate in pre-season training, and joined the first Red Devils players returning to the team to prepare for the game. Recently, Cunha accepted an interview with Manchester United's official website.

■Since joining the Wolves on loan in 2023, Cunha has been a common opponent for the Red Devils in the Premier League. He once completed a pass and shot against Manchester United in a game on Boxing Day last year, helping Wolves win 2-0.

Cunya: "Yes, as an opponent, it feels really different. We joked about some previous matches as opponents, especially in the confrontation with Mazlawi, and almost always 'one-on-one' with him."

"Of course, we talked a lot about the game and the new season. Everyone is very friendly to me and gave me a warm welcome."

■The next two weeks, the focus of training will be to improve physical fitness and prepare for five friendly matches in the summer. The first warm-up match will be against Leeds United in Stockholm, when Cunha is expected to make Manchester United's debut. He is currently working hard to adapt to the new environment and can't wait to wear this red No. 10 jersey and step onto the court.

Cunia said: "Everything here makes me look forward to it. I treat everything as a dream. I hope that when I really play in the game, I can adapt faster and get back to the familiar feeling on the court. Of course, I am excited to do what I want to do. It will be a special moment when I first walked into the locker room and saw that shirt of my own. I hope I can do better than I thought."
