According to talkSPORT, the consortium interested in acquiring Manchester United comes from the United Arab Emirates, not Saudi Arabia or Qatar.

However, the acquisition news coming out of the outside world surprised Manchester United insiders, suggesting that the club's top brass may not be aware of the so-called "in-depth stage" of negotiations. At present, Manchester United is still valued at more than 5 billion pounds.

The current shareholding structure is that the Glazer family holds a majority share, while Sir Ratcliffe acquired 27.7% of the shares for 1.25 billion pounds in 2024 and is responsible for daily operations.
