Manchester City officially announced that it had completed a contract renewal with its sponsor Puma. The official did not disclose the annual salary and amount of the new contract, but according to media reports, the two parties renewed their contract for at least 10 years, with an annual sponsorship fee of 100 million pounds.

Manchester City's contract also surpassed the 10-year £900 million contract signed by Manchester United and Adidas, and the 8-year £950 million contract between Real Madrid and Adidas, becoming the largest jersey sponsorship contract in football history.
