Manchester United was eliminated by England's fourth-level team Greensby in the League Cup, which caused a lot of sensation in the local football world. After the game, several local Greensby fans were interviewed by The Guardian and they talked about the incredible victory.

◉ Brightmore, 49, president of the local fan organization, talked about beating Manchester United

"I honestly felt like I was dreaming. It felt completely unreal to see us beat Manchester United at Brandall Park. For us, this is the place of dreams and we can't imagine something better than that."

"The whole town is full of pride now, and it's something we never imagined to have a team of a level like Manchester United out. As a fan, this is the most brilliant moment I can experience. I lived behind Greensby Stadium when I was a kid and watched the game through the windows when I grew up. Last night was the best day of my life, and I told my friends before the game that I was sincere, if that was the last game I watched, I would die tomorrow, and I would die without regrets.”

◉ 19-year-old Dan Harligan is a season ticket holder for Greensby, and he watched Wednesday night's game with his friends. He said he couldn't believe the result of the game at all and originally wanted to see the team play beautiful football.

Dan Harligan said: "Before the game, my brother texted me and said, 'If we win tonight, would you like to go out and celebrate?'" Harligan said. "I replied to him: 'Brother, if we can win a corner kick, go and celebrate.' My only wish is to see a goal."

"Now my hands are still hurting because of the clapping, and my throat is hoarse. I have to go to work this morning, but what can you do? Last night, everyone in the city came out to celebrate, and of course I have to follow."

◉ Roy Wilson, 43, has lived in this area all his life, and he also talked about the game.

Wilson said: "I am certainly a better Greensby fan, but for some reason, I have been following Manchester United as well. I was a little conflicted before the game, but once the game started, I supported Greensby with all my heart. It was incredible to see the smiles on the faces of people in the town today. This feeling is really special."

Grimmy is currently in the promotion zone in the English League Two, although she has only played five games in the season. Wilson believes that the club should focus on a great season.

"We remained unbeaten this season and performed well. Before the season, we just wanted to compete for the top seven and get the upgrade qualification. But now, we should aim for the championship. Why not? We can all beat Manchester United."
