What are the symptoms of rabies dogs? The general main symptoms are: excitatory and paralyzing period. The excitement period is manifested as the dog becomes extremely excited, barking, attacking and other behaviors, saliva, eating disorders, and even biting people or other animals. The paralysis period is manifested as dogs slow movement, weakened muscles, inability to stand, difficulty swallowing, and in severe cases, paralysis and death. At the same time, rabies dogs may have other symptoms, such as fever, difficulty breathing, redness and swollen eyes. If your dog experiences these symptoms, seek medical attention and get a rabies vaccination as soon as possible.

Dogs suffering from rabies generally show hyperpsychiatric excitement, red conjunctiva, abnormal behavior, fear of light and water, drooling, unprovoked attacks on humans or animals, and muscle tremors. After 2-4 days, in the late stage of the disease, the dog will experience serious symptoms such as limb paralysis, swallowing disorders, coma, hoarseness, and organ failure, and will eventually die.

Most dogs with rabies will show two extreme symptoms and appear alternately. They are generally more excited in the early stages, such as grinning, actively biting, drooling, moving quickly, and dilated pupils. Because the rabies virus mainly invades brain cells, it is so severe. However, in the later stage, due to the large number of injuries, the dog will fall into a gloomy state, have physical disorders, poor balance, unclear consciousness, and even fall into shock and coma, and eventually die.
